As the quality manager you will be responsible for quality functions including Production Quality, Customer Quality, Supplier Quality and Quality Management System. You will manage the production quality following the high-end industrial standard and customer specification. At the same time lead the critical customer complaint handling(8D) and risk mitigation, be responsible for the localized supplier audit and meeting the quality requirement. You will manage quality system improvement to obtain the QMS certification ISO9001, IATF16949 etc., and get quality certified by customer.

Responsible for Production Quality:

- Manage Incoming/In-process/Outgoing quality and production team following product specification and customer requirement, and quality continuous improvement.

-Lead on-site quality issue problem solving

- Supervise the regular production quality status and risk management.

- Manage the quality lab including incoming material, offline line quality testing and metrology 

- Organize daily production quality meeting

Responsible for Quality Management System

- Establish the quality system of Plant (Quality procedure and process)

- Develop and evaluate quality index

- Lead on the obtaining quality certification (ISO9001 and IATF16949 etc.) and customer audit 

- Be responsible for the continuous improvement and procedure optimization

Responsible for Supplier Quality

- Conduct potential supplier quality audits and annual evaluations

- Carry out APQP management and improvement for qualified suppliers.

- Lead the material/component development process quality problem solving (from design phase to mass production & whole life cycle)

- Lead component PPAP approval management and quality control in mass production phase; promote factory and customer material quality problem solving.

Responsible for Customer Quality

- Interface with the customer for quality performance review and quality goal achievement, issue resolution and customer satisfaction improvement

- Responsible for organizing customer problem solving

- Fast response to customer´s mitigating quality problem severity and containment

- Pulling internal production factories to effectively prevent customer complaints (FMEA) and supervise the implementation.

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

  • Minimum 5 years of previous professional experience in a leadership role in Quality Management within TIER1 automotive industry
  • Good overview in key automotive regulatory standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949)
  • Upper-intermediate knowledge of English language and Slovak language (level B2)
  • Leadership skills, previous experience with leading, motivation and development of own team
