Job description, responsibilities and duties
Establish and maintain the project document control system, ensuring accurate filing, tracking, revision control, and archiving of all project documentation.
Manage and coordinate all design and construction documentation, including drawings, RFIs, submittals, permits, technical documents, and as-built records.
Ensure all project documents are properly uploaded, updated, and maintained within the Document Management System (DMS) in line with project procedures.
Monitor document workflows, approvals, revisions, and submission deadlines while preventing the use of obsolete or uncontrolled documents on site.
Coordinate document distribution and communication between consultants, contractors, PMO, authorities, and project stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain document control reports such as submittal logs, RFI trackers, revision histories, overdue reports, and approval matrices.
Support audits, contract administration, regulatory compliance, and project close-out activities including final handover documentation and O&M manuals.

Personality requirements and skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 3 years prior experience in document control within construction or industrial projects.
Experience on large-scale EPC / industrial / manufacturing / infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of transmittals, RFIs, submittals, and approval workflows.
Proficiency in English and Slovak at a communicative level (minimum B2) – a requirement (regular communication with customers and international colleagues)
Experience with document management systems (Aconex, Procore, SharePoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud, EDMS or similar)
Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to respond quickly to problems, analytical thinking, and thoroughness in problem-solving
Experience working in an international and multicultural environment
Microsoft Office – proficiency with the suite is required

Slovakia’s first battery gigafactory is being built near the town of Šurany on a 95-hectare site and will create over a thousand jobs. In the initial phase of construction, it will have a capacity of 20 GWh, with the potential to reach up to 40 GWh. The start of series production (SOP) is scheduled for the end of 2027.
